Get Involved

We have to stop pretending that “knowing better” is the key to health.

Knowledge without access isn’t empowerment, it’s a barrier.

At Whole Heart Health, we believe access to nutritious food and education shouldn't be a privilege—it’s a right. That’s why we’ve launched our Whole Heart Pantries: free, community-supported pantries stocked with shelf-stable snacks, water, hygiene products, and Manna Bags—complete, budget-friendly meals ready to make and share.

Free Meal Access + Real Nutrition Support = One Small Step to Health Equity

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

School Programs

We teach children to see food as both fun and fuel. Our lessons are hands-on, high-energy, and easy for teachers to integrate during testing seasons or after breaks.

Family Manna Meal Bags

We provide shelf-stable meal kits with simple recipes that can be recreated in food deserts and support consistent nourishment to children and families at home.

Community Connection

Through free events like community workouts, book swaps, and wellness gatherings, we build belonging and support healthier routines for the whole family.

Our Mission

At Whole Heart Health, we partner with schools, food access programs, and community organizations to deliver engaging, age-appropriate nutrition education in Greater Baton Rouge.

We exist to bridge the gap between nutrition education and nutrition insecurity.
