Most Needed Donations

At Whole Heart Health, we focus on providing complete, nourishing meals—not random items. Every donation helps us create intentional, accessible meals for families in our community.

Our Approach

We build meal kits with purpose. That means every item you donate plays a role in a complete meal that a family can easily prepare, often with limited resources. Because of this, we ask that all donations align with our current needs.

Daily Essential Needs

These items are consistently needed and always accepted:

  • Canned Chicken (12.5 oz cans)

  • Canned Luncheon Meat (like SPAM, 12 oz)

  • Canned Roast Beef (12 oz cans)

  • Canned Diced Potatoes

  • Canned White Beans or Red Beans

  • Granola Bars

  • Oatmeal

  • Applesauce or Fruit Pouches

  • Baby Food

  • Beef Jerky

  • Just-add-water Mac and Cheese cups (microwavable)

Monthly Recipe Ingredients

In addition to daily needs, we feature specific recipe ingredients that change each month based on the meals we are building. These items will be updated regularly to reflect our current meal kits.

May 2026 We are working on making our Baked Pasta and Taco Soup. These are the ingredeints we are accepting for this:

  • 8oz uncooked pasta

  • 14.5oz chicken broth can

  • 8oz can of pasta sauce

  • 14.5oz can of diced tomatoes

  • 12.5oz canned chicken

  • 8oz parmesan cheese shaker

  • 14/15oz can of whole kernel corn

  • 15oz canned beans (white & black)

  • Taco Seasoning Packs

  • 12.5oz canned roast beef

  • 4oz can of green chiles

Donation Guidelines

To ensure safety, quality, and usability of all items, please follow these guidelines:

  • Shelf-stable items only

  • No chocolate or meltable items

  • No perishable foods

  • No expired items

  • No random or unlisted canned goods

We are not able to use items that do not fit into our meal kits.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! Every donation that you make is tax deductible. Our preferred method for monetary donations is our FREE online platform, Zeffy. You will get a donation receipt immediately for one time donations and at the end of the year for monthly donations. If you donate through venmo (@wholehearthealth), please email us at hello@wholeheart.health for a tax receipt.

  • 100% of your donations go to continuing to stock community roadside pantries and provide free nutrition education and support to children in the community.
