Peanut Butter Asian Dressing (or Spread!) – Quick, Flavorful, and Budget-Friendly
Peanut butter isn’t just for sweet treats and sandwiches—it can be the secret to an incredibly flavorful, protein-packed dressing or spread that’s both affordable and versatile. This recipe is a favorite for busy days when you need something quick, satisfying, and delicious.
Recipe: Peanut Butter Asian Dressing
Ingredients:
¼ cup peanut butter
3 tablespoons lime juice (fresh is best!)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Garlic, red pepper flakes, and any other seasonings your heart desires
Directions:
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together the peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, and sesame oil until smooth.
Add in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, or any other favorite add-ins (ginger, rice vinegar, or honey are great options).
Taste as you go and adjust the seasonings to your liking.
To thin it out into a pourable dressing, just add a tablespoon of warm water at a time until it reaches your desired consistency.
How to Use It:
Drizzle it over salads with cabbage, greens, or shredded carrots
Spread it in a chicken and cabbage wrap
Use it as a dip for spring rolls or veggies
Toss it with cold noodles and veggies for a quick lunch
Elevate those leftover chicken nuggets (yes, really)
